How we check nutrition facts
People who use GLP-1 medication such as Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro often eat much less, so every serving needs to count. That is why we show protein per serving first and tell you how sure we are about each number.
Where the numbers come from
- The product label. Protein, sugar, fibre, calories, serving size and allergens come from the manufacturer's label or product sheet for the item we ship.
- The manufacturer's own claims. Words such as lactose free, vegan, gluten free or Informed Choice are shown only when the manufacturer states them.
- Our own arithmetic. Where we show a total (for example grams of protein in a whole tub), it is the per serving number multiplied by the servings listed on the label.
Label status badges
Every product page shows one of two label statuses.
- Verified from current Canadian package: we have read the nutrition panel on the Canadian package.
- Nutrition panel being verified: we have the headline numbers from the manufacturer, and we are still checking the full panel against the current Canadian package. Packaging can change between batches, so check the label on the package you receive.
What we do not do
- We do not invent nutrition numbers. If a number is missing, we leave it out.
- We do not claim a product treats or prevents any condition.
- We do not sell medication.
