I'm Amani, and I'm diabetic. When my doctor prescribed a GLP-1 medication to help manage my blood sugar, I discovered something nobody warned me about: these medications shrink your appetite, but not your protein needs. I was eating less, losing weight, and losing muscle mass at the same time.

I needed nutrition-dense food in portions my smaller stomach could actually finish. I needed fibre to counteract the slowed digestion nobody talks about.
